Anthea Bundy, originally from Falkirk, started her yoga journey in 2020 after getting an ACL replacement in her knee.
Anthea used to compete in Highland Dancing until she was seventeen years old. During Anthea’s years of competing, she won over eighty open championships worldwide, including the SDCCS in Calgary and Edmonton and the World Championship in 2010 and 2012.
Anthea then went on to study Musical Theatre in London, where she now hopes to land a job in the West End (when the world returns to normal!).
Anthea completed her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 with Himalaya Yoga Valley Online. Anthea’s training was in Ashtanga Yoga which is a very traditional and physically strong form of yoga which is based upon the principle of integrating the eight limbs of yoga into your life.
Yoga is now a part of Anthea’s everyday life and she hopes to continue studying yoga worldwide.
Anthea hopes to share her knowledge of yoga with others, and allow them to experience the benefits, both physically and mentally, that she has experienced herself through yoga.
Anthea wishes she did yoga when competing in Highland, as she knows it would have been extremely beneficial to her dancing. Join Anthea where she will share this knowledge with you!
