Choreography

● Choreographies are open to registered RSOBHD dancers. All dancers must be BCHDA members.

● Group Choreographies consist of 3 or more dancers.

● All choreographies: dance must be Celtic in theme, using movements from Highland and National dances, Jig, or Hornpipe with allowances for individual interpretation & variation. A limited influence from other dance forms such as Jazz, Tap, Ballet or step dances may be incorporated. The costume must follow the theme & content of the dance.

● No stamps will be awarded & Choreographies do not count toward the aggregate trophies.

● Music is to be submitted electronically to competition secretary (bchda.competitionsecretary@gmail.com) one week prior to competition. Dancers should bring backup on a mobile device. The maximum time limits are 2 minutes for solos and 3 minutes for Groups.
